The first part was about the hills and the trees. Next came my new school and I zoomed in on a particular boy. He was tall, with brown hair and deep blue eyes. It turned out to be a beautiful dream. He reached out to me and took me close. He leaned out to kiss me and then...I woke up. I some how knew that this boy I saw was real. But I was just getting my hopes up. I woke up to a beautiful sunny morning. I went downstairs and smelled the sweet scent of bacon and muffins, my favorite Saturday breakfast. I smiled at Tim. I haven't talked about Sarah for a while. And for some reason I was glad. Any way, I sat down and ate. I was done in what seemed like three seconds.
"Do you want me to show around today?" Tim asked, looking at me with hope.
"Sure," I replied, in a some-what excited voice.
"Great."
We finished eating our food and I ran upstairs to get dressed. I felt as I was being watched though. I looked out the window and I saw the leaves of the tree outside my window move. I looked out the window, but there was no breeze.
"Just a squirrel," I said to myself.
I finished with my 15 minutes of getting ready. I went back downstairs and Tim was waiting for me by the door. We walked out together and as he got into the driver's seat, I got into the passenger seat. When Tim turned the key the radio came on. And lucky for me, the songs here were the same in California. We spent about an hour and a half in the car. Tim showed me all the shopping malls, hoping that I would go there with future girlfriends. Then we passed all the little shops and grocery store. And last but not least, we passed my new school. Outside there was a small parking lot with a single car. Who would be here on a Saturday? I looked closer and I saw a boy. He was tall, with brown hair and deep blue eyes. It was the boy from my dream!
"Dad, who's that guy?" I asked as we passed by.
"Um, Ryan something. I can't remember his last name." He smiled at me. "Interested?"
"No, just curious." I looked out the window. I didn't know what to say. I just found out that the boy from my dream was real, he was there when I was picking out my outfit in my pajamas, and climb a tree that had no branches.
"Does he go to Lavina High?"
"Yea, him and his two brothers. The oldest is a senoir and the younger one is in eighth grade."
"So he's in the middle?"
"Yup."
Maybe this year won't be so bad. Maybe with Ryan around, Monday won't be such a bad time to start school.
